Newburgh Makers Market

Newburgh Makers Market is a community market series founded by the Newburgh-based artist, Daher Label, that celebrates the artists, musicians, chefs, and other makers who strive to make the vibrant river city of Newburgh, New York, the “Jewel of the Hudson” once again.

The emblem honors the city’s heritage as a place for industry. In the 19th century, Newburgh fostered a bustling downtown filled with more than 100 factories. Artisans of all kinds called the city their home. That makers’ spirit remains alive today, with once-abandoned factories transforming into studios, empty warehouses converting into breweries, and long-condemned buildings turning into modern apartments.

Newburgh is nestled within the Hudson Valley; it’s an urban oasis surrounded by trees, mountains, rivers, and streams. The abundance of natural colors informs the color palette, which is dominated by a lush forest green and accented by gold and sepia hues.
